(01) The brief
A client with a working WordPress that only needed a better homepage. Instead of rebuilding everything, a new homepage was designed and embedded, isolated from the original theme.
(02) What it does
- New homepage with logo, services and WhatsApp contact.
- The rest of the site untouched.
(03) How it was built
- The homepage approved first as a standalone HTML mockup.
- Embedded in WordPress isolated from the theme (Divi), with the previous homepage saved as a restorable backup.
(04) Security
- No new plugins; the WordPress attack surface was not widened.
(05) Speed and Google
The new homepage loads without depending on the theme’s heavy CSS.
(06) What it deliberately doesn’t do
- The full site was not migrated; this was a redesign scoped to the homepage.
