(01) The brief
Sotomayor rents and sells industrial and commercial property in the Santiago Metropolitan Region. It needed a serious catalogue of warehouses and sites, forms that do not get lost, and a way to publish properties without depending on a developer.
(02) What it does
- Search by sale or rent, property type, region and commune, with listings, photos and map location.
- Forms to rent, list a property or request a valuation; every submission arrives by email and the client gets a receipt.
- Its own panel with preview, change history and an undo button.
(03) How it was built
- Static site generated by a build script and served by a Cloudflare Worker, which also handles the panel and the forms.
- Editable content in KV: every save keeps a copy of the previous version, and undo is recorded too, so it can be redone.
- Almost 300 automated tests run locally before publishing each phase of the panel.
(04) Security
- Forms validated in the browser and again on the server with the same Chilean rules (name, +56 9 mobile, communes from a closed list).
- Origin and Sec-Fetch-Site checks against submissions from other sites, and daily email caps.
- Panel with its own session and kept out of search engines.
(05) Speed and Google
Static pages from the Cloudflare edge; third-party libraries hosted on the same domain.
(06) What it deliberately doesn’t do
- It is not a portal with user accounts and does not integrate with external property portals.
