(01) The brief
A family kennel in southern Chile. It sells nationwide and needed to show current litters with real photos and take the catalog down when they sell out, without calling anyone.
(02) What it does
- Catalog of available puppies with a gallery and a detail page.
- Family reviews with a photo.
- Contact over WhatsApp and coordinated shipping.
(03) How it was built
- Convex as a real-time database: marking a puppy as sold removes it from the site instantly.
- Custom administrator sessions with expiry.
- Server-rendered pages with product structured data.
(04) Security
- Panel out of search engines, session with expiry.
- Strict headers.
(05) Speed and Google
Photos optimized over CDN; fast loading in rural areas with weak signal.
(06) What it deliberately doesn’t do
- No online payments and no deposit-based reservations.
